Canvas & Cottage began with a simple desire, to create beautiful things that make people feel at peace in their own homes. I’ve always believed that small comforts, a glowing candle, a soothing scent, a piece of art that feels familiar, can change the entire atmosphere of a space.
My journey started with my art. Canvas & Cottage quickly blossomed as I wanted to create beautiful things that fill the senses and make a house a home. My art is a journey that I want to share but its creation is a path I walk alone. Candles on the other hand, is something that can be joyful employment to others someday, hopefully.
For now, I walk this business alone. As a creator, I pour my heart into every candle and every brushstroke. My fragrances are chosen for their ability to evoke warmth and memory; all products free of harmful substances for healthier homes. My paintings for their softness and sense of belonging. Each piece is a tiny reminder that even gentle things can make a difference.
The bee is at the heart of this brand for a reason. Quietly, diligently, and joyfully, it goes about its work—often unnoticed—but the impact of its labor is profound. With every flight, it creates honey, but it also nourishes the world through pollination, spreading life almost magically.
